Yasmine Braeken received her BSc. in Chemistry from the University of Hasselt in 2011. During her bachelor internship, she worked on the synthesis of organic semiconductors for organic photovoltaics. Afterwards, she obtained her MSc. in Chemical Engineering (Molecular engineering) at Eindhoven University of Technology. In her master thesis, she focused on the synthesis of TPD-based polymers for organic solar cells.
In October 2013, Yasmine started her PhD in the DSOS group, where she is currently working on novel PPE polymers for biosensing and bioimaging.
