HCI - Context-aware mobile systems
![]() |
We perform research on how context-aware systems can assist users in a variety of settings. The focus of our research is primarily on situations in which the user is mobile. Context-related information is not limited to location but also includes information about the software platform, social network, timeliness of activities and the user profile itself. We have experience in building such systems for cultural organizations (e.g. Gallo-Roman Museum in Tongeren and Middelheim in Antwerp), social help systems (e.g. people in early stages of dementia or commuters) and intervention teams.
