PARTNERS & FUNDING

The Hasselt University Field Research Centre collaborates with many organizations and academic institutes. We hope to expand these efforts continuously.

We are also very grateful for the funding from the different institutions.


Connecterra

Connecterra is currently being developed as the Main Gateway to the National Park Hoge Kempen.
In 2014 Connecterra will complete its first two Pavilions: the Visitor Centre Pavilion and the Field Research Centre office Pavilion.
More Pavilions will be realized in the following years, especially in the field of edutainment.

Department Agency for Nature and Forests (Flemish Government)

The Agency for Nature and Forests has the mission and task to manage, conserve, and restore (where necessary) the nature and forest in Flanders. Most of the heathland and forest of the National Park Hoge Kempen is under the authority and management of the ANB.

Regionaal Landschap Kempen en Maasland



The Regionaal Landschap Kempen en Maasland is one of the regional landscapes with its own identity and situated in the North-Eastern region of Limburg, Belgium.

The total area of the Regional Landscape Kempen and Maasland is 750 km2, of which 60 km2 is designated as Belgium's only National Park.

Provinciaal NatuurCentrum Limburg

The Provincial Nature Centre of Limburg harbors an educational centre on nature and environmental related issues for primary and secondary schools, a new educational field station (LIVEC), the LIMNET administration (Limburgse Natuur- en Milieueducatief Netwerk), the MOS-team (milieuzorg op school) and the NIP-team (NatuurInformatiePunt), the Limburgse Koepel voor Natuur (LIKONA) offices...
