Details research group Databases and Theoretical Computer Science (DBTI)

Expertises of the research group :

The Research Group Databases and Theoretical Computer Science is mainly active in the field of database theory.  The context of databases must be interpreted very broadly, and is not restricted to standard relational database management systems.  The general theme is the design and analysis of logical data models and associated query languages.  This theme is applied to various kinds of systems, such as relational, object-oriented, geometrical, temporal, and web databases, data mining, etc.  The group is also active in related fields of theoretical computer science (mathematical logic, complexity theory, algorithms), artificial intelligence (constraint satisfaction problems), and bioinformatics.
