In 2011, 15 participants could get a scholarship for this course! Only participants from countries on the VLIR-UOS country list could be considered for a scholarship:
- Asia (8 countries): Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Philippines, India, Indonesia, Palestinian, Vietnam
- Latin America (11 countries): Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua, Peru, Surinam
Application procedure 2011 programme
To enrol, please use the registration form (at the bottom of this webpage). On the form you have to choose between application for scholarship or non-scholarship. The decision to grant a scholarship lies with Hasselt University. In order to encourage participants from as many countries as possible, a maximum of 2 scholarships will be granted per country. Also a maximum of 1 scholarship will be granted per organisation.The deadline for scholarship application is 1st July 2011, the deadline for non-scholarship application is 15th September 2011 (only possible if no visa for Belgium is required)!
Around 15th July, all scholarship applicants will automatically receive an email from us to inform them whether their application was accepted or not .
Payment procedure
For those who were accepted for non-scholarship participation, a tuition fee of 1,250 (from developing country) or 2,500 (from developed country) euros is required. Please note that the tuition fee has to be paid before the start of the programme. The deadline for payment (non-scholarship participants) is 1st October 2011.
