| Examinations | The evaluation was done by means of an assignment which the participants receive at the beginning of the week. The last day of the course, the participants presented their results to the teachers and the other participants. The observers could ask questions. The result of the assignment and the presentation were taken into consideration to evaluate the participants. The aim of the task was for participants to apply the theory and the practice of the course in situations in their own country. |
| Maximum number of participants | For organisational purposes, the maximum number of participants was set at 20. |
| Course Venue | The course took place in the campus of Hasselt University, Agoralaan building D, 3590 Diepenbeek, Belgium. |
| Accommodation | For participants with a scholarship, a twin room (shared per 2 participants of the same gender) was booked at the Ibis hotel in the centre of Hasselt (IBIS Hasselt Centrum, Thonissenlaan 37, 3500 Hasselt, T: +32(0)11/23.11.11, F: +32(0)11/24.33.23, Website: Ibis Hasselt Centrum). Non-scholarship participants could choose accommodation from a list of suggested hotels in Hasselt. Please click on the following link to see an overview of Hasselt hotels: Hotel List. When booking a room yourself, please mention that you are a guest of Hasselt University in order to get the agreed rate (see hotel overview). If you wish us to make the booking for you, please let us know by email and let us have check in and check out date. The accommodation will have to be paid by yourselves upon check out. |
| How to get there | The easiest way to reach Hasselt University is to land at Brussels International Airport (Zaventem) and subsequently take the train (operator: NMBS) to Hasselt railway station. Click here to look for the train timetable (departure: Brussels national airport, destination: Hasselt station). To reach the campus from Hasselt, you need to take bus number 45 (operator: De Lijn) which leaves every 15 minutes from bus platform 6 at Hasselt railway station and stops at various bus stops on the way. The ride to Hasselt University takes 15 minutes. The bus platforms are located right in front of the railway station building. |
