Are you looking for funding for your innovation process? Collaboration between a company and a knowledge institution usually qualifies for subsidies from the Flemish Government. These are a few of the possibilities:
VLAIO (Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship): R&D projects, small business innovation projects (SME), strategic baseline research (SBO), practically oriented research (TETRA), 'Baekeland' PhDs, etc.
KMO-portefeuille: Hasselt University is also a recognised knowledge centre which provides funding from the small businesses (SME) portfolio in the technological exploration pillar.
Innovation premium: in Limburg you can also apply for a provincial innovation premium.
Europe: within ongoing EU projects, funding is available for concrete innovation processes, for example through the Crossroads, TTC and GCS schemes. As a company, you can also apply for funding from the European EFRO and Interreg programmes, as well as the European framework programmes.
For more information about the possibilities for requesting innovation subsidies free of charge, please see the website of the innovation centre in your province.
