What?
The King Baudouin Foundation and several funds have launched a joint call for research into the pathobiology of hematological cancers with an aim to advanced treatment.
A total amount of € 340.000 is available to support maximum two research projects for a period of 2 years.
Who?
The call is open to
junior post-doctoral researchers (
maximum of 4 years active research following PhD thesis – with additional time for documented career breaks) embedded in a Belgian academic scientific and/or clinical research team.
The team has an internationally accepted scientific expertise on hematologic cancers and guarantees the autonomous elaboration of the project by the recipient of the grant.
Collaborative projects are encouraged. Projects that involve collaboration of international research teams must be initiated and coordinated by the team based in Belgium.
