What?

The King Baudouin Foundation and several funds have launched a joint call for fundamental research projects on the biological aspects of psychiatric disorders, including research domains as genetics, biochemistry, neurophysiology, neuropsychiatry, medical imaging, pharmacology, computational….

A total amount of € 130.000 is available to support one research project for a period of 2 years.
 

Who?

The call is open to young researchers, i.e. holding a doctorate for a maximum of 8 years following their PhD thesis (with additional time in case of documented career breaks) and to researchers in Belgium working in an academic centre, university hospital, university college or research centre.

The research project must be formally supported by the head of department.

The project is initiated and coordinated in Belgium.

Collaborative projects are encouraged. Projects that involve collaboration of international research teams must be initiated and coordinated by the team based in Belgium.
  

Application?

If you are interested, please submit an online application via the website of the King Baudouin Foundation. Applications should be submitted in English by 28/08/2024 at midnight at the latest.
