SYMPOSIUM EXTRACELLULAR VESICLES 2017

Date: 7th February 2017
Time: 8:30 am – 17 pm
Location: Hasselt University, campus Diepenbeek, Belgium

The field of extracellular vesicles (EV) is rapidly expanding and their importance in diagnostics is becoming more and more clear.

The goal of this symposium is to connect EV-researchers with each other and, moreover, with experts in this field of high potential. The meeting will feature a general introduction on EV to spark interest of  researchers new to the field, as well as more in depth talks such as the relation of EV to inflammatory diseases like cardiovascular diseases and neuro-inflammation. The challenges in the technology of using EV in diagnostics and a view on the future will also be given. With this symposium we want to provide the opportunity to network as well as give scientists the opportunity to get to know this exciting and rapidly growing field.
