The new academic year is the ideal opportunity to invite you for a breakfast session of the Training network Research, Innovation and Internationalisation (O&I²).
With our new name comes an announcement; the training network has been expanded to include sessions organized by the International Office (DIOS).
The new set up will be explained during breakfast in a general session on the research coordination, tech transfer and international office. This session will be followed by parallel sessions on topics in research, tech transfer and internationalisation.

|Session 1:||Tech Transfer process at a glance: How Hothouse does licensing (TTO)
Paul Maguire, Senior Licensing Executive in DIT Hothouse, will guide you on their process on how to do licensing.
|Session 2:||Internationalize your education and research: DIOS incentive fund and global minds funding (DIOS)
To stimulate internationalisation in education and research, each year UHasselt funds several initiatives via a competitive internal call. The call for 2018 projects will soon be launched. In this session, the modalities of the call are further explained and 2 good practices are illustrated.

Paul Maguire (DIT) will lead you the way through market projections, commercialization strategy and patent search by means of best practice cases.
|Session 2:||An introduction in InCites, an online research analytics tool
UHasselt researchers and staff have, after creating an account, access to Incites. During this session we will explore the scenarios and questions on research performance on three different levels (Institution, Individual researcher, Custom groupings (peer groups/ competitors))
