DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: DECEMBER 24th, 2019
The workshop consists of 2 parts:
- Online preparation
You will receive a login for the virtual learning environment (powered by EIT) six weeks prior to the start of the workshop. Here you will be able to read the theory and case study and apply it to your own research.
You have to take into account you will spend an estimated 3 hours a week during the six weeks prior to the workshop.
- A face-to-face workshop
Theory will be combined with hands-on coaching via the flipped classroom approach. The workshop includes research communication and opportunity identification, defining applications and value proposition design, product vision, pitching and dragon's den:
Day 1: From Academic Research to a Value Proposition
Day 2: From a Value Proposition to a Business Proposition
Day 3: The dragons Den (final presentations & review)
Each day from 9 a.m. till 9 p.m., residential with 2 overnight stays
The coaches are Koen Vriesacker en Marc Sonnaert (Noventus), Steven Van Hoof (Tech Transfer Office), Nils Wuytens (researcher Tacit Knowledge in Entrepreneurship from Research Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Firms UHasselt)
