Together with our partner Universities, we organise the sixth edition of the summer school "Seamless retail design: integrating the spatial, experiential and digital”. The goal is to invite students and young professionals from different disciplines related to retail design (such as, but not limited to interior design, architecture, product design/industrial design, marketing and cross/multi media design) to collectively reflect on the challenges and opportunities of the ‘store of the future’.
The general set-up is to combine the state-of- the-art knowledge coming from both academics and experienced practitioners with the creativity of students and young professionals, while working on a real life project. We will design the customer journey and the store of a Belgian retailer (to be announced). Each touchpoint will be designed on a conceptual level with the focus on being future proof. You will learn to work in multi-disciplinary teams on an omni-channel (or phygital) brand story.
Additionally, extra-curricular activities and social events will further stimulate international collaboration and ensure a lively and fun atmosphere.

- Crash course
- Overnight stay in Hostel H from 21 to 28 August

We only have 20 places available. Your subscription is final after you paid the fee. A bed in Hostel H will automatically be booked for you. We encourage you to wait to book your transport to Hasselt until we have 10 people subscribed (which is the amount we need to get started). When we have reached that amount, you will be notified by mail.
Make sure you take the banktransfer costs for yourself en (and) not the University. Otherwise your subscription will be cancelled.
