The content and the degree of the programme are equal to the full-time programme, but the courses are organized in such a way that students are able to combine a job with their studies. The course material will be made available through an e-learning platform that enrolled students can access from home. During the semester, there will also be a Q&A session by skype about the course. The internship and master’s thesis can be carried out at your place of employment, so you will already benefit from your studies while still earning your degree. The distance learning programme can be completed at your own pace and for every course that you complete, a certificate can be requested.
The courses of the Master in Transportation Sciences by distance learning are taught through distance learning. There will be no required attendance during the semester, but students will have to travel to Hasselt University, Belgium, to take their exams at the end of each semester.
To gain the master degree you must successfully pass the courses of the model track, followed by an internship and the master thesis, accumulating a total of 120 credit points (ECTS).
