My motivation originates from the ability of solving real life physical problems (either industrial,
biological or chemical) by means of mathematical tools as a language. Consequently, as computational
mathematics offers a well-balanced mix for such applications, I enrolled as a PhD-assistant within the
Numerical analysis and implementation of Partial Differential Equations are the main topics
of interest for my research. As an application field, I’ve worked on Fluid-Structure Interaction problems and more general Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) problems with the use of the OpenFOAM software.
