The applied GCP training begins with introducing GCP, the Addendum and the way how the guideline is introduced into European and particularly Belgian legislation. The main part of the day is spent on providing concrete information and experience on how to apply GCP to the different site responsibilities and activities. They give practical cases and advice, discuss and answer concrete questions from people’s daily life. At the end they organize a MCQ test. The participants who pass the test get a GCP Certificate, those who don’t pass get a Certificate of Attendance. The course is recognised by TransCelerate. The syllabus and learning outcomes are based on the PharmaTrain’s CLIC concept and thus also broadly recognised by industry and ethics committees. Dr. Ingrid Klingmann of the European Forum for Good Clinical Practice (= EFGCP) is the course instructor.

The applied GCP training is organized by Jessa and will be thaught in English.

PhD students and postdocs of Hasselt University can participate but need to register via the registration module of Jessa and also pay the registration fee (10 euros for PhD students, 50 euros for postdocs). After attending the training, the doctoral schools will reimburse the registration costs (not the costs for the lunch). In order to apply for reimbursement, please contact Stefanie Kerkhofs.
