Simon Paredis received his Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Hasselt University in 2016. During this Bachelor thesis in the DSOS group, he worked on the synthesis of fullerene-free solution-processed bulk heterojunction organic photovoltaics. In 2018, he obtained his Master degree in Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Eindhoven, where he did his Master thesis in the group of Prof. dr. Bert Meijer on the supramolecular polymerization of pyrene-based monomers. Currently, he is doing PhD work on materials showing thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) to improve existing organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technologies.
