HOW TO GET TO CAMPUS HASSELT

The ‘Oude Gevangenis’ is located in the city centre (42 Martelarenlaan) and easy to reach by foot, public transport and car.

BY TRAIN

There are direct connections to Hasselt from Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels, Ghent, Leuven and Liège – every hour, every day. More info on the website of the Belgian National Railway Company: www.nmbs.be.

BY TAXI

You can take a taxi from the train station to Kolonel Dusartplein (a two minute walk from the Oude Gevangenis). A taxi ride costs about 5 euros.  

BY CAR

Hasselt is easy to reach via the E313 (exit 27, 28 and 29) and E314 (exit 29) motorways. There are numerous car parks in and around the city centre. There are buses to the centre (stop: Kolonel Dusartplein).

There is an underground car park (Q Parking) at Kolonel Dusartplein, which you can reach via Koning Boudewijnlaan or Maastrichtersteenweg.

Free parking is available at Vilderstraat and Koning Boudewijnlaan – located at a short walking distance from Campus Hasselt. Other car parks in the city centre are: Mouttoren, Kolenkaai, Truierbrug Zuid and Cultureel Centrum.
