Arthur Maufort received his bachelor degree in materials chemistry in 2017 at Hasselt University. During his bachelor graduation project, he focused on the synthesis and application of organic ammonium iodide salts in hybrid perovskites, under supervision of prof. Dirk Vanderzande. In 2019, he obtained his master degree in chemical engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. He performed his master graduation project in the M2N group of prof. René Janssen, and focused on developing conjugated polymers with strong push-pull character for photovoltaic applications. He finished his master studies with an industrial internship at Haldor Topsøe in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark, where he studied the thermal stability of Sn-Beta catalyst during biomass
valorization. Currently, he is appointed as a PhD student in the HyMaD group of prof. Dirk Vanderzande, where he investigates the self-assembly of organic donor-acceptor complexes within the confinement of a perovskite lattice.
