The proof of the pudding is in the eating, so the implementation of synthesized materials into the final devices where their functionality can be of use, is the final destiny of a useful materials. Always the demonstration of the success of a certain combination of a synthesis route and a material, can only be finalized by their implementation into the device. Since many devices are based on physical properties, rather than chemical ones, collaborations are set up with experts from physics and engineering to achieve this final goal.
Research activities include the following devices:
- Lithium ion batteries
- Sodium ion batteries
- CCU by catalysis
- Solar cells
- RFID antennas
