The Quantum photonics (QP) group is addressing cross disciplinary scientific topics on the border of photonics, optical device physics and biology. QP uses nanofabrication tools are used to fabricate semiconducting and quantum physics based devices, which are used to probe and image semiconducting and biological systems at the nanoscale. The QP research group started in summer 2013 within Hasselt University's Institute for Materials Research (IMO-IMOMEC) and is headed by Prof. Dr. Milos Nesladek.
