The prestigious Royal Statistical Society (RSS) is one of the world’s leading organisations to promote the importance of statistics and data, and have done so since they were founded in 1834. They are a professional body for all statisticians and data analysts, having more than 8,000 members in the UK and across the world. As a charity, they advocate the key role of statistics and data in society, and work to ensure that policy formulation and decision making are informed by evidence for the public good.
The Master of Statistics is RSS accredited and is one of the few master programmes on the European mainland to have received that accreditation.
Students and graduates of the Master of Statistics can join the RSS, for e.g. networking, keeping up to date with what is going on the world of statistics.
