Post-doctoral researcher Hannelore Bové is among the 30 most promising European scientists under the age of 30 according to Forbes. Today their 30 under 30 list was released and dr. Bové was a laureate in the category Science & Healthcare.

Hannelore Bové received the nomination for her groundbreaking research in which she succeeded, for the first time ever, to visualize and detect soot particles on an individual level in human samples such as blood or urine. “With this novel technique, we can gain more insight into what the exact impact is of air pollution on our body and health”, dr. Bové explains.

The Forbes 30 under 30 list saw its first light in 2012 and ever since then, the American business magazine has released a new one every year. It is a collection of people who possess the potential to shape our world in the future. Among the list are various researchers but also entrepreneurs, artists, and celebrities. “It is a true honor to be included into this list and I am truly grateful that our research findings are getting international recognition.”
