Knowledge multiplies when shared and united forces can do more. We are absolutely convinced of this strategy at the LCRP.
Are you a company that invests in new medical developments or an organization that would like to work with us to create better healthcare? Contact us and discover the opportunities of a partnership.
In recent years, the LCRP has developed a solid research expertise around the medical clusters: anaesthesia/neurology, cardiology, gynaecology/fertility, infectious diseases/immunity and oncology. We also have a strong reputation in the field of mobile health and assistive technology and rehabilitation.
Our medical doctors-professors offer strong clinical expertise. The academic researchers from different disciplines have a rich biomedical knowledge and technological know-how.
A test garden
Medical innovations are accompanied by clinical test programs. Do you need help setting up such a program? Or are you still looking for test subjects for your research? The LCRP offers you access to a large testing ground for patients.
Co-creation and validation of mHealth applications
Do you want to develop an innovative mHealth product or service? Then the Mobile Health Unit is the perfect sparring partner. They co-create, validate and support you, among other things, in the complex process of CE and FDA approvals.
A rich Biobank collection
With UBiLim we offer you access to a unique collection of interesting patient samples for various medical conditions. This access can accelerate your research.
An extensive network
Are you looking for complementary research expertise? Partners who can support you scientifically, technologically or legally? Then our extensive international network comes in handy.
LCRP has a strong collaboration with the regional life sciences and health care ecosystem, there are even more possibilities at this level. For example, the UHasselt Biomedical Research Institute has a number of technology platforms and the LCRP is part of the Limburg CareVille testing ground. There is also close collaboration with the organization LifeTechValley, which offers a helping hand for (start-up) companies with a focus on 'happy aging'. Coupled to this, the life science incubator, BioVille, was opened in Diepenbeek (Belgium) in 2010 where numerous life sciences and health care companies are currently housed, with which the LCRP has a good cooperation.
