COVID-19 is still having an impact on our daily life and of course on our university.
Due to consecutive decisions of the government Hasselt University will operate under code red at least until the end of February. This means all courses will be taught online, except for lab and practical sessions. You will find more info on FAQ academic year '20-'21.
If you have specific questions concerning your programme, please contact your faculty. Information for staff is available on the intranet.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us via firstname.lastname@example.org
Since Belgium is experiencing a second wave of the coronavirus epidemic, experts say it's more than ever necessary to take COVID-19 seriously. Read the full text of Geert Molenberghs (UHasselt/KUL), Niel Hens (UHasselt/UAntwerpen), Sarah Vercruysse (UHasselt) and Pierre Vandamme (UAntwerpen) here.

General information about the coronavirus can be found on the Public Health website https://www.info-coronavirus.be/nl/ and on https://www.vlaanderen.be/gezondheid-en-welzijn/gezondheid/coronavirus-covid-19#onderwijs (in Dutch).
These measures reduce the spread of the coronavirus, so be sure to follow them:
- Stay at home, especially if you are sick.
- Wash your hands regularly with soap and water.
- Keep enough distance (1.5 metres) when outdoors.
- Limit your physical social contacts.
- Wear a face mask if necessary and in crowded places.
We count on everyone's understanding to respect the measures and to treat each other with care.
