Basic Life Support - CPR and AED

Content

This course covers the basic life support procedure with the use of an AED Device. The content of the course is based on the current ERC guidelines 2021: https://www.cprguidelines.eu .Within research centres, it is considered important that the research environment is "cardiac safe" and that all researchers are able to recognise the signs of a cardiac arrest, to perform CPR and to operate the AED if an emergency situation (cardiac arrest) would occur with a patient/participant/colleague. Both theoretical and practical aspects will be covered in this course and participants will receive a certificate of participation afterwards.

This course will be given in Dutch
