The leadership training program, delivered by True Colours, consists of two modules that are organized independently from each other. The second module may however be taken only after having attended the basic module.
In this second module, the core focus is on what is needed to establish effective and constructive team cooperation and on how you can deal with difficult situations within groups. We work on the importance of self-motivation and on how to strengthen this (even) more, and we have a look at stakeholder management: how to gain better insight in who your stakeholders are and how to come to a communication plan that helps to have ‘difficult’ conversations with ‘difficult’ stakeholders. We also zoom in on how you can map and strengthen your network.
The workshop is ran by Wendy Van den Bulck, using interactive teaching, experiential exercises (e.g. group exercise to experience the importance of the building blocks of effective teamwork), self-reflection and exchanging and learning from each other (both plenary and in subgroups). In addition, participants will be practising in simulations based on real-life cases (which will be asked for in an intake questionnaire) to ensure maximal transfer to the own work context. With regard to networking, there will also be drawing and visualising.
