Speaker: prof. dr. Niels Martin
A Delphi study is a research method that is useful to obtain consensus on a specific topic with a panel of experts (e.g. to reach consensus on the opportunities and challenges of using process mining in organisations). To achieve consensus, a study consisting of multiple rounds is set up in which questionnaires are interspersed with feedback. In this talk, I will highlight some basic principles of Delphi studies and how they could be operationalised. Moreover, I will share my personal experiences with the research method after running three Delphi studies in the fields of process mining and process modelling.
