Title
Non-synaptic roles of glycine and its embryonic receptor: a signal for both immune and nervous systems?
Abstract
Neurotransmitters are increasingly assumpted to perform, next to there classic task in neural transmission, a broader function in signal transmission, intern and extern the central nerve system. Aim of the project is to define an electrofysiological and morfological characterization for GlyR and GlyT on one hand, on the other hand T-lymfocyts and neural precursor cells and mature oligodendrocyts, to investigate which role glycine has in the communication between the immunity system and the nerve system.
Period of project
