Congratulations! It is time for you to finalise your registration and officially become a student at Hasselt University. You'll have to complete 3 steps:
Follow our application process as a first step to be admitted to one of our study programmes.
After you've been admitted to the study programme of your choice, you'll have to pay the tuition fee.
Final registrations are open from June 26, 2023. To finalise your registration, you'll need to book an appointment with a staff member of the student administration.
International students have to finalise their registration on campus. However, distance learning students can book an online appointment.

Google Meet will be used for all online appointments.
Once you book your appointment you will receive the link along with extra information.
Or on campus
All on campus appointments will take place at our registration desk in city campus Hasselt located in the Old Prison building, Martelarenlaan 42, 3500 Hasselt. Location and accessibility Hasselt Campus.
You are welcome to bring one friend or family member. Due to the ongoing Covid19 pandemic, a maximum of two people can be present - you and one close contact person.

Ask permission via the academic advisor of the study program of your choice
Fill in the application for late enrolment (pdf, 49 KB) and review this together with the academic advisor of the study program of your choice. The academic advisors are happy to help you and support you in making the right decision.

Non-EEA students can finalise their registration only after receipt of payment.

Orientation programme
At the start of each semester an orientation programme is organised for international students.
You will receive useful information on anything from Belgian culture to administrative procedures within the university. The orientation programme further offers the opportunity for you to meet other (international) students.
Be sure to arrive in Belgium before the start of the orientation programme and before the start of the academic year.
