We kindly invite you to participate in our symposium entitled 'Lipid mediators in brain diseases' organized by PhD students of Hasselt University and Amsterdam UMC. This symposium will focus on the involvement of lipids in the brain during disease. Different pathologies will be discussed, including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. An update on current research topics from different national and international universities will be given and possible future collaborations will be encouraged
Measures are taken by Hasselt University to comply with the health obligations in force in the context of the Covid pandemic and to ensure the safety of all; Please notify that it is obligated to have a Covid Safe ticket to attend the symposium. This will be checked at the beginning of each symposium day. Registration is obligated and a limited number of attendees is allowed. Wearing a mask which covers the nose and mouth is obligatory (except while eating or having drinks). Talks are given in a large meeting room with option for distancing. Microphones are disinfected between each speaker and gel dispensers are foreseen in multiple places.
