What?
The BOF Sabbatical Leave programme finances outgoing international mobility in the framework of an intensive period of research activity abroad (3 to 12 months), starting in 2023. The stay of the researcher outside Hasselt University has to be part of the scientific research within his or her research group or institute. The BOF funding serves as cofinancing of the external funding.
Who?
- UHasselt Tenure track professors and ZAP members (min. appointment 60%);
- Approved application for external funding (FWO or other) is required;
- Positive advice from the discipline group (vakgroepraad) and faculty board is required;
- Relevance of the stay should be made clear. The stay should be part of the scientific research within the researchers’ research group or institute.
