Writing Lab

The Writing Lab aims to provide individual, personalised attention regarding writing matters, both academic and creative (and any combination of both).

The ideal beneficiaries of the Writing Lab are UHasselt Architecture and Art faculty-based PhD students, but MA students and faculty members are very welcome if slots are available.

WHAT IT IS

an Architecture and Arts faculty-based support service. It aims to provide individual, personalised attention regarding writing matters,

  • academic
    • How do I structure my paper?
    • How do I express this point more clearly?
    • How do I cite Chicago style?

  • creative
    • How far can I push a citation?
    • How can I play with written form?
    • How does the text meet other media?

WHAT IT IS NOT

It does not cover actual academic content

  • Is this what the author I am quoting means?
  • Is my methodology sound?
  • Who else should I read topic-wise?

It is not a copy-editing service.
