Step 1: Ask permission via the academic advisor of the study program of your choice

Fill in the application for late enrolment (pdf, 56 KB) and review this together with the academic advisor of the study program of your choice. The academic advisors are happy to help you and support you in making the right decision.

Step 2: Make an online preregistration

Based on your pre-registration file, we have a clear overview of your study path and personal data. The last step within this process is "Uploads / Downloads" where you can upload your diplomas. Were you a student at UHasselt? Then you can skip this step. 

Step 3: Make an appointment to finalise your registration

Email studentenadministratie@uhasselt.be to make an appointment to register for the current academic year. Make sure the following elements are definitely in your mail:

  • Approved document for late approval
  • Pre-registration number (or student number if you have been a student before)
  • Preference for appointment: physical or online

Please note that registrations for academic year 2024-2025 are not yet open.
