1. Meet the Doctoral Schools team

We are excited to announce that the DS team is back to full strength. Recently, Rosanne Ceuppens and Dr Kirsten Braem joined the team. Together with Lia Van Hoef, Hilde Vanderheyden, Charlotte Ertryckx and Eva Rodiers they are responsible for realising the mission of the doctoral schools. More information regarding the team's responsibilities is available on our webpage.

2. Share your voice and shape the future of the PhD community

Do you have interesting ideas or opinions which could contribute to a strong PhD community within Hasselt University? Then share your voice and become a member of the PhD council! This council is open for official (and future) PhD representatives and for any PhD student who would like to engage in many interesting meetings. Interestingly, any PhD student can take the role of representative.
The council has a three-fold approach. First, it fights for the interests of PhD students at meetings organized by the university's various committees and boards. Second, the council holds bi-monthly gatherings where PhD students share possible issues they face. Afterwards, these issues are communicated to the responsible department at UHasselt by the council's representatives. Third, the council wishes to start organizing community building activities such as after-work drinks.
Why don't you give it a go and join us here to contribute to our vibrant PhD student community.
