Sporty researchers within the UMSC

Whether there is sporting blood within the UMSC? Not even a little bit!

On Saturday, September 11th professor dr. Bart Van Wijmeersch (neurologist) accepted the challenge of running a marathon for the benefit of people with MS and the MS-Liga Vlaanderen. He ran this marathon all the way through and collected 18.000 euros for the benefit of people with MS.

Professor dr. Peter Feys, PhD student Gayel Duran and prof.dr. Tim Vanmierlo literally put their best foot forward and ran 20 km in Brussels. They finished respectively after 2.37, 2.16 and 1.23 hour.

What a great performance by the 4 of them! It is an honor to have them on the UMSC team!
