1. Welcome feedback - Towards a constructive feedforward culture (Business theatre)

'Welcome feedback: towards a constructive feedforward culture' is an awareness-raising event on feedback, both open to all researchers and UHasselt staff. The format of this event will be business theatre, by Klein Barnum. It invites you to playfully discover how a constructive feedback culture can be created, by means of a series of realistic and humoristic scenes. Input from the audience can be asked by the use of color cards, but verbal interaction is not obliged and you will not be asked to join the actors on stage. Just sit back and enjoy how the business theatre enfolds and learn more about the importance of feedback in your personal and professional life. All info can be found here and register for this fun evening until October 12!

2. Wellbeing inside-out 2025

‘Wellbeing inside-out’ runs from October 6 until October 10, 2025 and is a joint effort of the Doctoral Schools, the HR department & team Vitality. This initiative consists of various sessions focusing on mental, physical and social wellbeing, since these 3 are inextricably linked. You can immerse yourself in a varied and entire extensive offer by taking a look at the program via this link. Do bear in mind that some sessions only take place in Dutch!

3. PhD Reflect & Connect: 'Artifhacking Intelligence' - 27/11/25

The Doctoral Schools of Hasselt University warmly invite you to the next edition of PhD Reflect & Connect, an inspiring afternoon designed to inform and bring researchers together. With the valued support of Alumni Relations, this session features a keynote by Belgian ethical hacker Inti De Ceukelaire on Artifhacking Intelligence. Through live demos and surprising insights, Inti will reveal how artificial intelligence can be manipulated and how to spot and stop it. A fascinating experience for anyone curious about the power and pitfalls of AI. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed networking reception with fellow PhD students and postdocs. Join us on Thursday, November 27, 2025 on campus Diepenbeek. Register by November 2! We look forward to welcoming you!
