Dr. Feng Guo

Feng Guo is currently an FWO Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at UHasselt and VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research), Belgium. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China, in 2015, and his Ph.D. degree in Automotive Engineering from the same university in 2020, where his doctoral research focused on battery state estimation for electric vehicles. After gaining experience in industry, he joined VITO in 2022 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In October 2025, he started his FWO-funded Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship at UHasselt, where his research focuses on electrochemical modeling, battery state estimation, fault diagnosis, control, and physics-guided learning, within the group of Prof. Momo Safari.
