Poetry contest: Write it
Are you that virtuoso with the sharp pen, a romantic person with a poetic streak or do you just love to write down a good poem, in either case you should enter Write it!, Stuvo's poetry competition.
In the past editions, our jury had the pleasure of considering real gems of entries. Try your luck and send us your best poetry work. You can win a 75 euro Hasselt voucher and of course publication of your winning poem on social media. Not to mention eternal fame and a kick-start to your writing career.
Both Dutch- and English-language entries are welcome. Mail your poem between March 1 and March 27 to cultuur@uhasselt.be. Find out more details in the regulations (coming soon).

Financial allowances for students:
- Cashback Culture: receive a reduction of 50% at several cultural performances. Check your student file for more information.
- Cheap tickets for performances at CCHA: you can buy a ticket for all performances at the Cultural Centre of Hasselt at half price when you present your student card.
- Projectgrant! Would you like to organise a nice activity yourself? A cooking workshop, comedy, free-podium,...? Make use of our projectgrant and receive up to 300 euros!

Annual events with cultural partners
- Student Take Off: THE start of the academic year at the Kolonel Dusartplein in Hasselt, organised by Hasselt University, PXL, UC Leuven-Limburg and the City of Hasselt.
- Free film premiere at Kinepolis: once a year Student Facilities organises a free premiere at Kinepolis Hasselt.
- Annual cultural excursion: e.g. Christmas market Aachen,....
- Big cultural performances at special student rates (Night of the Proms, comedy shows,....)
Entertainment on campus
- Piano op de agora: show your musical talent
- Cultural activities at and around the campus (workshops, walks, concerts,,...)
- Events with internal partners
Contests
