With which questions can you address the student support staff?
Do you have questions or doubts about your study method or your planning? Do you suffer from stress, procrastination or fear of failure? If so, you can contact the study coach for your programme.
Special circumstances requests
Students with dyslexia, AD(H)D, ASD or chronic health conditions, as well as top-level sportspeople, practising artists and working students can request extra support and facilities for their teaching and evaluation through the study coach / disability officer.
If you are in a difficult situation to take your exams digitally at home or in a room, we will be happy to help you find a solution. To do so, send an e-mail to email@example.com. If you are granted the facility, you will receive a certificate which gives you access to a study place in the library.
Do you have questions about the programme, curriculum, examination regulations, exam results or your progress with your studies? Or about the composition of your study pathway, or the possibility of modifying it? Do you wish to apply for one or more exemption(s)? Your programme’s academic advisor will be happy to help you.
You can consult the student psychologist (firstname.lastname@example.org or make an appointment) for support and initial assistance with all sorts of personal, relational, family and other problems. The psychologist can also refer you to specialised help. Group and individual sessions are free of charge for UHasselt Students.
Questions about healthcare, costs, ...? You can contact the student welfare office.
Your student support staff can be reached by telephone, e-mail, chat or by (online) appointment. You choose the appropriate guidance yourself.
