Collaborating with students

There are various ways to collaborate with our students. The most common forms are a bachelor’s project or a master’s thesis, but guest lectures also offer interesting opportunities for collaboration. If you’d like to invite our students for a company visit, that’s possible too!

Companies can deliver one or more guest lectures on specific topics that align with a course module. This gives students valuable insight into real-world practice and allows organizations to share their expertise with future engineers.

Would you like to give a guest lecture or offer a company visit? Please feel free to contact us.

Collaborating with Researchers

The Engineering Technology Limburg programme is jointly offered by Hasselt University and KU Leuven Campus Diepenbeek. Both universities have various research groups with strong substantive links to the different master’s programs within the joint program.

Our researchers build on a strong tradition of collaboration with both small and large organizations, from industry and the service sector, both domestically and internationally. In these collaborations, we strive for high-quality and impactful insights, based on sound scientific methodologies.

You can find an overview of our research groups here.
