What?
The Research Fund - Flanders (FWO) and the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique-FNRS (F.R.S.-FNRS) award the 'Oswald Vander Veken Prize' worth € 25,000 every three years to crown an original contribution to the knowledge, causes, prevention, diagnosis or treatment of the tumours of the locomotor system. The prize will be awarded to a researcher who, on the day of the call deadline, is affiliated with a university in the European Economic Area or Switzerland. Both individual researchers and research teams (of a maximum of 3 researchers) can apply for the prize.The candidate can submit his application by e-mail to prijzen@fwo.be by 2 March 2026 (midnight Belgian time) at the latest.
