What?

In 2023, the Belgian American Educational Foundation- B.A.E.F. will grant an Alumni Award of € 10,000.00  in the field of the Exact Sciences including mathematics, physics, chemistry, physical chemistry, geology, physical geography and astronomy.

The Alumni Award is traditionally granted every year to a young researcher who stands out in his/her academic career. 

Who?

The Award will be granted either to a Belgian researcher or to a researcher who is currently affiliated with a Belgian university and has been for at least two years.
Candidates may not have reached the age of 36 during the calendar year of the award.

Application?

Applications for the Award must be submitted before March 1, 2023 to B.A.E.F via alumni@baef.be
– a one page summary of his/her complete scientific work;
– his/her curriculum vitae ( in a word document) including a list of publications and the link to a personal professional website if existing.
