What?

The BOF Sabbatical Leave programme cofinances outgoing international research stays for periods of 3 to 12 months, starting in 2023.  The BOF funds for the Sabbatical Leave are intended to support a successful externally funded application (FWO, VLIR chairs abroad, ….).

Who?

• ZAP member of Hasselt University (TT assistant professors and ZAP-members) with a minimum employment of 60%;
• Approved application for external funding (FWO or other) is required;
• Positive advice from the discipline group (vakgroepraad) and faculty board is required;
• The stay must be part of the scientific research within the researcher’s research group/institute/centre.
• The scientific added value of the Sabbatical Leave must be motivated.
