What?

The call is focussed on supporting and reinforcing scientific excellence of the Federal Scientific Institutions (FSI) around 5 priorities:

• Enhancing heritage sciences through digital technologies, open data repositories and AI
• New techniques – new methods
• Heritage collection research
• Understanding and mitigating global and climate change
• Exploratory research

All research projects within the P4Science programme are initiated and coordinated by an FSI.

The indicative budget for the 2024-2025 call is 15.261.890 €.
  

Who?

The Project partners are the research institutions. All research projects within the P4Science programme are initiated and coordinated by an FSI.

Projects may be implemented by a single FSI or a network of FSI whether or not in collaboration with other eligible Belgian and/or international research institutes.

Belgian research institutes (universities, colleges of high education, public scientific institutions, and non-profit research centres) may participate in projects receiving funding and/or contributing in-kind.
  

Application?

Deadlines:
Submission EoI and confirmation by DG of the institution: 25 March 2025 @ 14:00
The EoI also needs to be sent to research@uhasselt.be
Submission Full Proposals: 24 April 2025 @ 14:00

The completed EoI and Full Proposals need to be submitted via the online platform.

The confirmation of the DG of the institution needs to be sent to P4Science@belspo.be before 25 March 2025 @ 14:00.
