The FLAMES summer school will be held this year at Hasselt University from 7-18 September 2026, with a pre-week offering R/Python training from 24-28 August. Some courses will be held online and some on campus. Also, for UHasselt PhDs and postdocs, there are free spots sponsored by the UHasselt doctoral schools available.

There are different levels of courses. If you are new to statistics, we highly recommend taking the 'Basic' courses, which also teach you to apply these techniques in R or SPSS.

    • Some courses will be offered online, whereas other courses will be organised on campus. Please check carefully whether your course is online or live on campus. There is no hybrid teaching.
