FWO & me: Insights into funding for research stays, conferences and summer/winter schools: In this workshop, prof. dr. Niels Appermont shares insights into funding opportunities offered by the Research Foundation - Flanders (FWO), with a focus on acquiring financial support for research stays abroad and participation in summer and winter schools. Drawing on his professional experience as a member of the FWO International Collaboration Committee (CIWC), the session focuses on various forms of international mobility (conference participation, research stays and workshops) and highlights what to pay attention to when drafting an application for funding, as well as common pitfalls during this process. The workshop is aimed at early-career researchers seeking concrete guidance on taking their first (or next) steps in international research mobility.
