FLAMES is an inter-university training network rooted in the five Flemish universities: Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Ghent University, Hasselt University, University of Antwerp and KULeuven.

It offers high-quality training in methodology and statistics for doctoral students, early-career researchers and participants beyond academia. The training portfolio is organised into three tracks: Data Science, Quantitative Research Methods and Qualitative Research Methods. Through practical courses, advanced training modules, seminars, a two-week summer school and an annual meeting, FLAMES strengthens research skills, fosters collaboration between universities and promotes interaction between academia, industry and the public sector.

Interested in exploring the offer? Have a look at the FLAMES training calendar for upcoming courses and registration details.
Training is provided free of charge to researchers affiliated to one of the five Flemish universities!
