Would you like to gain clarity about certain career paths and work environments regarding the medical industry? Great news: InnoSer and InvoX at BioVille are delighted to open their doors!
InnoSer is a contract research organisation (CRO), which employs many researchers from the field of biomedical sciences. InnoSer’s aim is to accelerate and de-risk preclinical drug development by providing highly translatable, customized in vitro and in vivo research models. Their core mission is to help biotech and pharma companies bring breakthrough medicines to patients efficiently.
The pharmaceutical company InvoX focuses on respiratory diseases. The main aim of InvoX is developing and bringing new respiratory products to the market that can help improve the lives of patients.
You get the opportunity to observe a work environment firsthand, to get in touch with industry professionals, to network and to ask questions. Do bear in mind that a company visit is not meant to valorize your research, it is rather an informal way to observe and experience a work environment up close. Each visit consists of a tour and testimonial from former PhDs who are now working in the companies. You will thus be able to get an insight into someone's professional journey and you will discover whether or not you can relate to their ambitions and current job function. A great way to get an idea of possible jobs and professional contexts beyond academia!
