PhD Student

In 2024, Kasper Poot obtained his bachelor’s degree from Hasselt University. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted his bachelor’s thesis in the DSOS research group, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of all-organic chiral emitters for circularly polarized organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). He subsequently pursued a master’s degree at KU Leuven, graduating summa cum laude. For his master’s thesis, he joined the LOSA research group, where he investigated the design, synthesis, and evaluation of organic materials for potential applications in redox flow batteries. His current PhD research focuses on mixed ionic–electronic conducting polymers for organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs).
